2200DRA Chicago Shootout

10am to 12:30pm: Open Qualifying
12:30pm to 1pm: Free BBQ Lunch
1pm to 4pm: 4 Rounds + Final
4pm to 5pm: Open 1/4 Mile Testing (Time permitting)
5:15pm: Trophy Presentation

Gates open at 6:30am, racing is 10am until 5pm

Scrutineering will be between 8am and

1/8th mile competition - DYO Chicago Shootout

1/4 mile testing all day, 10 spots available

1/4 mile testing for all entrants at the end of the day

Strictly limited to a total of 75 cars/bikes

4 crew permitted per competitor entry

Classes will be according to speed, with
a separate class for bikes -
All non IHRA tech vehicles (street cars)
will require scrutineering and IHRA tech
vehicles will be subject to random scrutineering
as per usual -
Free spectator entry for all 2200DRA club members

Sorry no general public spectators due to insurances
Lunch will be a free sausage sizzle with water/soft drinks provided. However the shop will not be open so you will need to bring anything else you may need for the rest of the day. Also free tea and coffee will be available in the morning.
If you're not already a member you will need to fill out a membership form also.
BUT WHAT IF IT RAINS?
We'll have a look at the weather forecast the day before and assess the situation. If it looks like rain we will call off the event and everyone will get a refund! Don't worry.
